OVER TWO CONSECUTIVE WEEKLY SESSIONS YOU WILL

Advanced throwing class.

 Must be confident in centring .

This class is aimed at those of you who are already confident throwers looking to

advance your skills to learn with porcelain.

Split across 2 consecutive weeks on Thursdays, choose the morning or afternoon session- 

Make a beautiful Tea bowl with spout & 2-4  tea cups.   

Week 1 - 2.5 hours 

Learn to throw with this notoriously tricky body. 

We will throw a tea bowl with a spout, and 2 tea cups, all in porcelain. 

Our focus will be on working quickly and throwing thinly to make the most of this beautiful material.

Week 2 - 2.5 hours 

Learn how to trim and refine your pieces. 

Our aim will be to trim very thinly to expose the unique transparent quality of this clay. 

All completed pieces will be finished by our technicians with a glaze of your choosing 

ready for collection in a couple of weeks.
