This is an artistic 2.5 hour class for beginners or intermediates.

beginners class in throwing. Learn the basics & gain confidence on a pottery

A fantastic 4-session pottery workshop for both newbies and those who've got some skills already. You'll get into everything from wheel throwing to the finer points of trimming and glazing your pots. Great for those that wish to learn the full process in a bit more depth or for those beginners wishing to sign up for a membership at the end.

HAND BUILDING FOR BEGINNERS

We will teach you how to coil, pinch or slab build a pot of your choosing. What you make is entirely up to you, anything from a functional pot to a more sculptural piece is possible.

This class will give you further foundations to improve your skills

& feel confident in throwing

without guidance.

​A focussed class where the tutor will guide you through steps that will improve your throwing skills. Thinner walls, taller shapes & any other processes you wish to improve on before you go it alone in the studio.

MUST BE CONFIDENT IN CENTRING -

 

Over two sessions you will  learn to create a functional & aesthetically pleasing lidded form.

Focussing on refining your work, we will aim to improve height & precision of the piece standing you in good stead to craft larger work on your own.

Our goal is to create a set of 4 plates, exploring your own creative flare. We will focus on techniques to deliver flat & low forms to suit your own aesthetic bringing to life your design idea.

Advanced throwing class.

 Must be confident in tap centering .

This class is aimed at those of you who are already confident throwers looking to advance your skills to learn with porcelain.

MAKE A CERAMIC LAMP BASE &  BEAUTIFUL LINEN SHADE.

 

Using Hand-Building techniques come &  enjoy a playful two day workshop. Explore your own creative flare & take home a beautiful lamp.

Split over two sessions, you will learn how to sculpt a ceramic base as well as hand craft the textile lampshade. Taking home a one of a kind homeware!
